Privacy Policy

Borrowed+ ("we", "us") helps people record items they lend or rent and create signed agreements. This policy explains what we collect and why. We are a documentation tool — we do not process or hold payments.

What we collect

• Account: your email (via Sign in with Apple or email code), display name, username, account type.
• Your content: items you add (name, category, value, optional photo, condition), loans, and listings.
• Agreements & signatures: the agreement text, typed/drawn signatures, and signing evidence (timestamp, IP address, device model, consent) — needed for the record to be credible.
• Device token for push notifications (if you allow them).
• Basic technical/log data needed to run the service.

How we use it

To provide the service: track your items, generate and store signed agreements, send reminders, enable shop pages, and connect you with people you choose. We do not sell your data.

Payments

Any rent or deposit is paid directly between users. We never process, hold, or transmit those payments — we only record the confirmations you mark. The only payment we receive is the optional in-app purchase (handled by Apple).

Sharing & processors

We use Supabase (database/hosting), Apple (sign-in, push, in-app purchase), and Vercel (web hosting) as processors. Agreement links you share are visible to whoever has the link.

Retention & deletion

You can delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account). We remove your personal data and listings. Signed agreements are retained as legal records, with your profile anonymized.
