These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Borrowed+. You must read and accept them before creating an account or signing in. By using Borrowed+, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Borrowed+ is a tool to record items you lend or rent and to create electronically signed agreements between you and another person. We are not a party to any loan, rental, or sale, and we do not process, hold, or transmit payments. Any money (rent or deposit) is handled directly between the users; the app only records the confirmations users mark.
You must be at least 13 and old enough to form a binding agreement in your country to use signing features. You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Our agreement templates are provided in good faith as a record of the parties' intentions. They are not legal advice and are not a substitute for a solicitor. Electronic signatures are generally valid, but the weight of any record depends on the circumstances.
You keep any rights you have in the content you add, including profile details, items, photos, listings, notes, reports, and signatures. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Borrowed+ and comply with law. You must have the right to lend or rent what you list and the right to upload all content and contact information you provide.
Content you choose to list on your shop profile is public. Agreement and item links are accessible to anyone who receives the link, so share them carefully.
Borrowed+ has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not upload, publish, or send content, or behave in a way, that:
You can report a profile or shop, including objectionable content associated with that account, from the relevant in-app menu, and you can block an abusive user. Blocking restricts that person's content and interactions for you, but does not erase signed agreements or other records needed by either party. If there is an immediate risk of harm, contact local emergency services first.
Reports enter our moderation queue. We prioritise urgent safety issues and aim to begin reviewing reports within 24 hours. Basic automated filters may reject some content, but no filter is perfect. We may investigate, remove content, limit features, preserve relevant evidence, suspend or terminate accounts, and cooperate with lawful requests. To report a problem outside the app, email support@borrowedplus.com.
You and the other party are responsible for agreeing the item condition, value, dates, rent, deposit, return, and payment method. Borrowed+ records what users enter or confirm but does not verify identity, ownership, creditworthiness, payment, or the condition of an item. A typed or drawn signature, consent confirmation, timestamp, and technical audit evidence may be stored with a signed agreement. Do not sign unless you understand and agree to the record.
Borrowed+ Premium is currently offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase — it is not an auto-renewing subscription. Apple processes the transaction and refund requests; we do not receive your card details. You can restore an eligible purchase through the app. If we introduce a subscription in the future, its price and renewal terms will be shown for your express confirmation before purchase.
Borrowed+ is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes between users, lost, stolen, or damaged items, unpaid rent or deposits, or indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
You may delete your account in the app. Operational profile data and uploaded media are deleted or anonymised, while signed agreements, signatures, return evidence, and related audit records may be retained so both parties can rely on them and so we can meet legal obligations. We may restrict or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, safety risk, fraud, or unlawful use.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or safety requirements. For material changes, we will update the date above, provide notice through appropriate means, and may ask you to accept the revised terms in the app.
