Lend to a friend+
Photograph the item, set a return date, and choose who's borrowing it. If they're on Borrowed+,
they get a request and sign right in the app; if not, they open a link in any browser — no
account needed. Either way you both get a record, and a reminder before it's due.
Rent out your gear (business)+
Open a shop on your @username, list cameras, tools or anything for rent with a price and
deposit. Each rental becomes a signed agreement; mark the rent and deposit as received.
Protect a deposit+
Agree a deposit up front in the contract. When the item comes back in good shape, mark the
deposit returned — both sides have proof of what was agreed and paid.
Keep track of who has what+
Your Items list shows what's out on loan at a glance. Mark things returned and they free up

Is the signed agreement legally useful?+
Electronic signatures are generally valid (e.g. UK ECA 2000, EU eIDAS). A two-party signed
record with timestamps, consent and a tamper-evident hash can be shown in a dispute. It's a
good-faith record, not formal legal advice.
Do you handle the payment?+
No. Rent and deposits are paid directly between the two people. Borrowed+ only records that a
payment was made or returned — we never process or hold money.
Does the other person need the app?+
No. They open the link you share in any browser, review the agreement and sign. The app is
for you — to track and manage.
What's free, and what's paid?+
Tracking and signed loans are free forever, including up to 10 shop listings and your own
storefront page. Premium is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited listings. Renting —
prices and deposits — is a business feature: free for founding members while we grow.
Is my data private?+
Yes. We collect only what's needed and never sell your data. Delete your account in-app
